Underground Motors – Hidden Power
Electromechanical motors, sturdy and quiet and particularly
complement steel gate designs. The setting and durability
of the foundation cases, which hold the motors, are watertight
to (IP67). Motor cases need to be installed at least 48 hours
before installation of gates and motors can take place.
Motors are self-locking on shutdown, but during a power failure
a simple release lever allows the gates to be opened manually.
The motors can be available in 90 degree, 140 degree or 180
degree opening.
Electromechanical Arms
The option to choose from 11 different operators to meet various
applications and requirements such as:-
Gate dimensions from 1.8 metre (5 ft) to 3metres (9 ft) or
5 metres (15ft) Various Gate Weights.
Arms are self-locking and may be released into manual use
in case of a power failure. They are simpler to install and
are easily adaptable for gates on rising drives. They are
particularly suitable for steel framed gates.
Articulated Arms
Articulated arms are suitable for gates up to 2.3 metres per
wing. They may be installed onto relatively narrow posts and
columns from 20 cm and are particularly recommended for gates
with distances of up to 20 cm (8”) between the gate
hinge and the edge of the column. They are strong, self-locking
and in case of a power failure, they can be released and placed
into manual operation.
Sliding Gate Motor
Available in 1500 kg or 3000kg weatherproof heavy duty sliding
gate motors are very strong and will accommodate any size
of industrial sliding gates. These motors are self–locking
with stop and partial opening commands available, allowing
optimising and adapting the gate’s opening according
to need. Motors can be switched into manual in the event of
a power failure.
Pedestrian Gate Opener
Created solely for small residential swing gates and pedestrian
gates. The motors can be installed on posts as narrow as 8
cm (3 ¼’’). The motors are low voltage
with amperometric obstacle detection to prevent gates closing
on pedestrians. They are only available as reversible motors
and therefore require an electric lock to secure the closed
gate.
Control Panel & Enclosure
We use a multifunction control board for up to 2 swing gates.
Has self diagnosis of safety devices and control LED’s
All our electric control equipment is enclosed in a lockable
sheet steel enclosure for safety and security. The enclosure
size is 300mm x 300mm x 200mm rated to IP65. Enclosures can
be mounted on the wall or on a steel frame at the gate area.
